Enable your website to be ‘pinned’ in Windows 7.

Microsoft have launched BuildMyPinnedSite.com, a website that provides detailed instructions about enabling a website to  be ‘pinned’ in Windows 7.

Microsoft have provided simple instructions and code snippets to enable websites to support this relatively new feature. The main tasks for web developers are creating a high-resolution icon, enabling a jump list and setting-up notifications so that website updates will appear on people’s task bars.

To enable these features for your website, go to www.buildmypinnedsite.com.
